As a finisher, Sengun is intelligent in his rolling and timeliness in getting to the basket off-ball. He can make excellent reads out of the P&R as the roll-man thanks to excellent finishing moves and the ability to pass on the move. As a post scorer, he has a variety of moves, including a lethal up and under, that he uses to put defenders in jail, especially on switches. As a shooter, Sengun needs to improve his form and make it more natural. This will unlock his ultimate offensive upside as a complete big man. Defensively, Sengun leaves a lot to be desired. His upside is low as a defender because of physical disadvantages in terms of athleticism, and he could be a liability come playoffs time to be played off the court because of his defensive shortcomings.
